J. Duck, and <br />brought to the attention of the Board, the Fire Departmentts need for twa <br />new sedans for Fire Inspectors, use. Funds being available for this <br />purpose, the Board directd.d the Clerk to proceed to advertise for bids <br />accordingly. <br />The Chief then called attention to the need for three new <br />automatic The <br />in three of the Fire Stations using coal heat, and <br />presented three quotations reeeived from dealers in this type of equip- <br />ment. The Board examined the proposals and withheld decision in the matter <br />until the advice of a heating expert can be had on the subject. <br />The Chief then placed with the Board papers pertaining to the <br />physical condition of two firemen. Upon the recommendation of Dr. <br />Wm. J. Stogdill, Fireman Ray Mc Neff was, thereupon, retired from the <br />Fire Department, on the basis of a medical disability retir -e-ment. <br />Upon the recommendation of Dr. Wm. J. <br />Sikorski was retired from the Fire Departme man Alex <br />nt Stogdill, the basis ogdill, Fireman <br />a medical <br />disability retirement. <br />Chief Duck then recommended to the Board, the appointment of <br />Richard V. Breckrus to the department to fill an existing vacancy. The <br />Board reviewed the application of Mr. Brekrus and in complaince with <br />the Fire Chiefts recommendation, approved the appointment to become <br />effective December 20, 1955• <br />
