<br />physical examinations and having been accepted by the Policements PeAsion
<br />Board, the Board approved the ten appointments, effective December 12,
<br />1955, subject to the usual probationary period.
<br />Police Application of Daniel Aloysious Pejza was examined and ordered
<br />filed.
<br />FIRE DEPARTMENT:
<br />Chief, Richard J. Duck, filed with the Board a letter accompanied by
<br />an examination report from the City Physicah, W. J. Stogdill, M.D. ,
<br />recommending the retirement of Fireman Alex Sikorski, as the medical
<br />report states that he is unfit to perform the duties of a fireman.
<br />After some discussion the Board requested that Fireman Sikorski show
<br />cause, if any, why his retirement should not become effective December
<br />15, 1955, on or before the next regular meeting of the Board.
