91170.j <br />First appeared before the <br />informed by the City Attorney <br />Gillen for the preparation of <br />client. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT: <br />Board, Attorney Arthur A. May, who was <br />of the deferment granted chief of Police <br />bill of particulars pertaining to his <br />Fire Chief, R. J. Duck, being present, informed the Board that the <br />drivers for the current supplier of gasoline are failing to contact the <br />officer in charge at the Fire.Station until after dump has been made, <br />thereby preventing the gauging of the dump as required by Fire Station <br />operation procedures. The Clerk was directed to notify vendor immed- <br />iately that drivers must comply with and cooperate in the required <br />delivery procedure. <br />ELECTRICAL ,DEPARTMENT.. Super- intendent ir_a -Runsb- erger,.be3ng preaelit <br />reported on,a survey._made by him for the.- .improved lighting of Eddy <br />Street from Jefferson Boulevard to Madison Street, and recommended to <br />the Board the installation of ten 6000 lumen lights on the east side <br />of Eddy Street, equally spaced to light the four blocks involved, <br />with one 10,000 lumen light to be installed on the northeast corner <br />of Jefferson and Eddy Street, in uniformity with the lighting on <br />Jefferson Boulevard, west from Eddy Street. The Board approved Supt. <br />Hunsbergerts recommendation and directed that.he proceed accordingly. <br />Superintendent Hunsbergerts recommendation for the installation <br />of a 4000 lumen light on the northeast corner of Meade and Keller <br />Streets was approved by the Board. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />The Police report of Officers Thompson and Flowers, signed by <br />Thompson, (C- 47308) dated October 18, 1955, covering accident involving <br />Car No. 2, which occurred at the corner of Washington and Michigan <br />Streets, at 3 :30 A. M. that date, was examined and referred to:the <br />City Controller, <br />The Police Department application of Joseph W. Toth was <br />examined and ordered placed on file. <br />Police Department Report for the month of September was examined <br />and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 11;30 A.
