LICE DEPARTMENT:. <br />The Police Department application of August K. Brenner, Jr- was <br />ned and ordered placed on file. <br />Chief of Police, R. J. Gillen, being present, broi:g ht to the Board's <br />attention his departmentts need for an electric typewriter. Funds being <br />available to meet this need, the Board authorized the purchase and <br />directed the Clerk to proceed accordingly. <br />Time for the opening of bids was then announced, and the Board <br />roceeded to open the single bid received to provide the Police Department <br />ith one -three wheel motorcycle, which was found to be as follows: <br />- 'HARLEY DAVIDSON SALES <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />A Non- Collusion Affidavit <br />and certified check <br />for $190.00 accompanied <br />the bid. <br />1 Police Servi -Car Motorcyle Model GA <br />equipped as per specifications ........... $1887.65 <br />There being no other bids, and the bid of Harley Davidson Sales <br />eing found satisfactory and in order, contract was awarded accordingly, <br />nd the Clerk was directed to issue formal purchase order for the <br />quipment. <br />There being no other business to come before the Board, the <br />eeing was adjourned at 11 :40 A.
