LECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />The recommendation of Superintendent Ira Hunsberger for the in- <br />tallation of a 4000 lumen light on the northwest corner of the inter - <br />ection of Woodland Blvd. and Riverside Drive was approved by the <br />oard. <br />A petition dated August 24, 1955, for the installing of a street <br />ight at the intersection °of'Falcon and Wayne streets, was examined <br />nd referred to Superintendent Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />A petition-dated-September 1, 1955, to install a street light at <br />he alley intersection between North St. Louis Blvd. and North Hill <br />treet, -in the-600-Block, and at the alley intersection between South <br />end Avenue, and Crescent Avenue in the 600 block, was examined and <br />eferred to Superintendent Ira Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />A petition dated September 1, 1955, for improved street lighting <br />t the intersection of Grant and Dunham Streets, was examined and're- <br />erred to Superintendent-Ira-Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />IGHTS AND MEASURES: <br />Inspector's Report for the month of August was examined and ordered <br />iled. <br />IRE DEPARTMENT: <br />The time now being 10:00 A.M. C.S.T., it was so announced and the <br />oard proceeded with the openin� of bids to provide 2500 feet of 2211 <br />-J Fire Hose and 400 feet of 1211 D -J Fire Hose, with couplings, which <br />ids were found to be, as follows: <br />.
