FMAOA June 13, 1955 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, June 13, 1955, at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Cichowicz, City Sealer, and brought to the Board's attention his need for a 100 - gallon portable test measure to check and - certify the accuracy of the fuel oil metering equip- ment of the delivery trucks of fuel oil vendors. Inasmuch as this need was anticipated and funds appropriated for this purpose, the Board directed the Clerk to proceed with the necessary advertising to obtain bids for the.' supplying of this equipment. Inspector's Prosecution Report, dated June 1, 1955, was examined and ordered filed. Copy of Division of Weights and Measures Report, submitted by Inspector Cichowicz for the month of May, was examined and ordered filed. POLICE DEPARTMENT: Chief of Police, R. J. Gillen, being present, placed before the Board, the resignation, by reason of having attained the required years of service for retirement, of Detective Sergeant, Lewis C. Rourke. having "recommended the acceptance of the resignation, the CBoardGauthorized the retirement of Detective Sgt.
