Ira Hunsberger for permission to attend the <br />Midwestern Section meeting of the International Municipal Signal Associ- <br />ation to be held in Moline, Illinois, April 20th to 23rd inclusive, was <br />granted by the Board. <br />A letter addressed to the Electrical Department from the Hoffmann <br />Hotels Company, pertaining to the damage to the Hotel Hoffman sign, <br />caused by the breaking of a cable from which traffic directional signs <br />were suspended, was next given attention by the Board. The Board <br />approved payment of the indicated damage and directed claim be obtained <br />from the Hoffmam Hotels Company in proper form to be passed for payment <br />at the next regular meeting of the Board. <br />Supt. Hunsbergerts recommendation for the installation of a 4000 <br />lumen light at the intersection of Weist Lane and Springbrook Drive <br />nd at the intersection of Ridgedale Road and Caroline Street was approved <br />y the Board. <br />OLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />The time now being 10:00 A. M. C.S.T., as advertised for the opening <br />f bids to provide the Police Department with a 1955 Model Ambulet, it <br />as so announced and the single bid received, was found to be as follows; <br />SCHERMAN SCHAUS FREEMAN CO. Jaworski was examined <br />d ordered placed on file. <br />
