.1 <br />A petition, dated March 17, 1955, calling for improved street lighting <br />at the intersection of South Walnut and Donald Streets, was examined and <br />referred to Superintendent Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />A petition, dated March 12, 1955, signed by the Principal of Oliver <br />School and members of the P.T.A., suggesting the installation of a street <br />light to light the Oliver School playground, was examined and referred to <br />Supt. Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />City Attorney, I. A. Hurwich, being present, examined agreements to <br />provide fire protection to the outlying.area of Portage Township, and to <br />German Township, and finding said agreements to be in order, so advised <br />the Board. The Board proceeded with the signing of the agreements. <br />The Fire Department application of .Anthony Romeo was examined' <br />".and <br />ordered filed. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />The Police Department applications of J. Allen Guy and Robert R.
