REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 25, 2010 332 <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ENCROACH ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY <br />— MICHIGAN STREET, DOWNTOWN SOUTH BEND STREET LIGHT POLES <br />Mr. Gilot advised that the Board is in receipt of an application from Downtown South Bend, Inc., <br />for the installation of Christmas lights across Michigan Street in the downtown area, subject to <br />an Indemnification and Hold Harmless Undertaking. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded <br />by Mr. Gilot, and carried, the recommendation was approved subject to DTSB producing a <br />report on the weight and sag the lights will cause by being hung on the light poles. Mr. Gilot <br />noted the clearance requirements of 14' 6 "' must be met and maintained. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following <br />handicapped traffic control devices were approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br />LOCATIONS: 202 North Sheridan <br />1317 Canterberry Drive <br />1313 Eclipse Street <br />REMARKS: All criteria has been met <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the installation of the <br />following traffic control devices was approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking Notre Dame Home Games <br />LOCATIONS: West Side of Rosemary Lane, from Charles St. to Edison <br />REMARKS: All criteria has been met <br />NEW INSTALLATION: No Turn on Red <br />LOCATIONS: Lafayette & Sample for Southbound Traffic <br />REMARKS: All criteria has been met <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the removal of the <br />following handicapped traffic control devices was approved: <br />REMOVAL: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br />LOCATION: 1506 South Taylor Street <br />838 S.
