Gillen, <br />a1aking permission for leave to attend Northwestern Universityts Accident <br />Investigation Course, October 4th thru October 22nd, 1954 for-Officers <br />Herbert L. Zakrocki and Raymond Thomas Pierson. In view of these Officers <br />having been awarded a special grant covering costs of Course, at no <br />additional expense to the City of South Bend, the Board granted permission <br />for the required leave in each instance. <br />The Police Department applications of Ralph J. Andreae, Jr. and <br />Raymond E. Udy, were examined and ordered place on file. <br />IRE DEPARTMENT: <br />Fire Chief, Richard J. Duck, being present, placed before the Board <br />the Fire Department application of Richard C. Taylor. The Board examined <br />this application, together with the Fire Department application of Peter <br />R. Ratajczak, and ordered both filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />wss adjourned at 11 :20 A. M.
