All members were present. Minutes of the previous <br />eting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total amount of <br />0,542.68, were approved. Duck, being present brought to the attention of <br />Board , his department's need for a 2 -way radio to be installed in <br />Studebaker Station wagon. The Board approved the - purchase and directed <br />Clerk to proceed to obtain the equipment as recommended by R. M. Smith <br />e Department Radio Technician. <br />A special low price having been quoted on Indiana Treated Stoker Coal <br />a48 -ton quantity, and space being available in bins at Fire Station No. 8 <br />Central Fire Station, the Clerk was directed to place orders totaling <br />tons for delivery to these two stations accordingly. <br />Fire Chief Duck brought to the attention of the Board, the revision of <br />ns for an addition to Fire Station No. 4 which should result in securing <br />s acceptable to the Board for this construction. City <br />ttorney I. A. Hurwich, being present, called for the file covering report <br />accident, and, upon re- examining the papers pertaining thereto, advised <br />?s. Morgan of the Boards decision to make suitable adjustment, upon the <br />-iing of the releases to be prepared by his office and available for <br />nature within a short time. <br />The Fire Department application of Peter C. Mortakis was examined and <br />)red placed on file. <br />Fire Captain Zyski"s report dated August 31st, covering a false still alarm <br />made into Warren Township by Engine Co. No. 22, was ordered filed. <br />
