Fireman Shultz was then called before the Board and was informed that <br />he has continued in violation of Section 27 of Article Yll of the Fire <br />Department Rules and Regulations in disregard of the Board's orders to <br />satisfy his creditors by not later than May lst. After some discussion <br />of the firemants financial situation bringing to light certain mitigating <br />circumstances, the Board extended a further thirty day period of grace, <br />requesting that Fireman Schultz report to the Board on Tuesday, July 6th, <br />at which time he states he will have his financial affairs under control. <br />The Fire Department Injuries Reports for the months of April and May <br />re examined and ordered filed. <br />A Captain and Lieutenant's Daily Report for Engine Co. No. 21, bear- <br />ing date of May 29, 1954, submitted by Lieut. John Filchak, covering <br />a Clay Township run, was examined and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />eting was adjourned at 11:45 A. Voss to be demoted from the rank of <br />Sergeant to the rank of Patrolman.
