Next appeared before the Board Supt. Ira Hunsberger, with the
<br />recommendation that the bid of the Englewood Electrical Supply, Inc.
<br />to supply the Electrical Department with wire and dable, submitted under
<br />date of March 26, 1954, be accepted as-the lowest and best bid, and the
<br />Board, accordingly awarded the contract and directed the Clerk to issue
<br />the required purchase order.
<br />Superintendent Ira Hunsberger's further recommendation, for the
<br />installation of a 4000 lumen light -at each of the following locations,
<br />was approved by the Board:
<br />1301 South Clover Street
<br />Clover Street & Northside Boulevard
<br />at the St. Joseph River.
<br />Petition, bearing twenty -six signatures of residents of the surround-
<br />ing area, calling for the installation of a street light in the alley at
<br />the rear of 1282 South Hill Street, was examined and referred to Supt.
<br />Ira Hunsberger for investigation and report.
