Fire Department applications,of the following four applicants, <br />were examined and ordered filed: <br />Edwin Vern Bottorff <br />Joseph Futa <br />John Blase Makielski <br />Sylvester William Podgorny <br />Police Department report for the month of January 1954, was <br />xamined and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />eeting was adjourned at 12 :20 noon. <br />r <br />Maiffman <br />hest: <br />Clerk <br />March 8, 1954- <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, <br />March 8, 1954, at 10 :00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the <br />previous meeting were read and approved. It was immediately evident to the Board <br />that the group had been misinformed, inasmuch as their first request <br />as for the reversal of an action the Board had not taken. Chairman of <br />he Board, I. A. Hurwich, then informed the group that the Board would <br />proceed forthwith to_:ho14 hearing in the matter. <br />After a number of persons were heard, the crux of their demand was <br />;larified by the Hon. Jesse L.
