Lill The Fire Department's Injury Report for November was examined and ordered filed. POLICE DEPARTMENT. The Police Department's need for sixteen new .38 caliber revolvers was next brought to the attention of the Board. In view of the need for this equipment and the trade -in value presently obtainable on the obsolete pistols being replaced, the Board approved the immediate consummation of this transaction and authorized the release of Purchase Order BW33 70 issued in compliance with the current offer. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT A petition dated November 20, 1953, calling for the installation of a street light on the west side of Goodland Avenue, between Nos. 1221 and 1225, was examined and referred to Superintendent Ira Hunsberger for investigation and report. A request for a street light at the corner of East Marshall and Holiday Drive, submitted by C. Harry Swanson, Inc., under date of December 4, 1953, was referred to Superintendent Hunsberger for in- vestigation and report. The- recommendation of Superintendent Hunsberger, for the in- stallation of a 4000 lumen light at each of the following six locations was approved by the Board: Ardmore Trail and Sussex Drive Canterbury Drive and Sussex Drive Grove Street and Canterbury Drive 926 South 25th Street North side of street at the dead end of Chippewa Avenue near Golfview Lane Between 924 and 934 Canterbury Drive The, Police Department's Report for the month of October was received and ordered filed.
