December 7, 1953 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, December 7, 19531 at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous- meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the amount of $77,694.23, were approved. Duck and presented three quotations for the supplying of six (6) 8.25 x 20� tires and tubes, and one (1) 9.00 x 20 tire and tube. Examination re- vealed the quotation of the Ben Feferman Motor Sales Corporation as the best offer, which quotation was, thereupon, accepted and the Clerk was directed to issue purchase order accordingly. The Chief then brought to the Boardts attention, his departmentts urgent need for a resusitator, recommending the purchase of the Save -A -Life resusitator. The Clerk was directed to proceed to secure this equipment. In the matter of the claim of The Gamewell Company, Newton Upper Falls, Mass., submitted under date of November 27, 1953., the Board authorized the Clerk to release purchase orders Nos. 2159 and 2181, confirming order for this equipment and encumbering funds for the payment of claim. 1 1
