December 7, 1953 <br />A regular meeting of <br />the Board <br />of Public Safety was held Monday, <br />December 7, 19531 at 10:00 <br />A. M. All <br />members were present. Minutes <br />of the previous- meeting were <br />read and approved. Duck <br />and presented three quotations for the supplying of six (6) 8.25 x 20� <br />tires and tubes, and one (1) 9.00 x 20 tire and tube. Examination re- <br />vealed the quotation of the Ben Feferman Motor Sales Corporation as <br />the best offer, which quotation was, thereupon, accepted and the Clerk <br />was directed to issue purchase order accordingly. <br />The Chief then brought to the Boardts attention, his departmentts <br />urgent need for a resusitator, recommending the purchase of the Save -A -Life <br />resusitator. The Clerk was directed to proceed to secure this equipment. <br />In the matter of the claim of The Gamewell Company, Newton Upper <br />Falls, Mass., submitted under date of November 27, 1953., the Board authorized <br />the Clerk to release purchase orders Nos. 2159 and 2181, confirming order <br />for this equipment and encumbering funds for the payment of claim. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
