IWA <br />for the last half of the year 1952 has not been received, and the Board <br />directed the Clerk to inform Trustee Mays that before contract will be <br />confirmed by the Board, German Township must pay the delinquent 1952 <br />payment due the City of South Bend, plus payment for the first half of <br />1953, when full fire protection remained in effect pending the signing <br />of contract, and the records of the Fire .Department show thirteen runs <br />were made, one fire having involved the use of three pieces of equipment <br />for a considerable period of time. <br />Reports covering runs into outlying area, German and Portage Townships <br />under dates of.August lst, 11th and 12th, involving Engine Cos. ll, 13 and <br />8 respectively, were examined and ordered filed. <br />The July 1953 Report of the South Bend Police Department was examined <br />and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to c-ome before the Board, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 11:15 A.
