The goal The goal is three -fold: <br />1. To support our current downtown retailers and restaurants by bringing in <br />enough quality retailers to put downtown South Bend on the map as a retail <br />destination for the holidays. <br />2. To take our current festive holiday atmosphere to the next level. <br />3. To help the long -term lease prospects of the spaces. <br />Legal Program participants will sign a memo which stipulates the terms of the short -term <br />Documentation lease and wherein which they agree to return the space to its original or an <br />improved condition. Participants will also provide a Certificate of Liability <br />Insurance. (See attached samples). <br />This program is modeled on DTSB's own such agreement with the owner of the <br />Jefferson building in 2007 when we held Santa House at 140 Michigan Street. <br />
