REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS REGARDING BILL NO. 30-10 <br />Martha Carol, 638 E. Ewing Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, advised the Council that there <br />is only one question left to answer regarding Bill No. 30-10 and that is whether or not <br />discrimination in the work place exists? She stated that the Council was elected to <br />represent all citizens of South Bend. She noted that they are just asking for a place to <br />seek recourse. She stated that Bill No. 3-10 is not vague, but rather is it right or wrong to <br />discriminate in the work place. She urged the Council to set this bill and vote for fairness <br />for all citizens. <br /> <br />Catherine Pittman, 2628 Summit Ridge Drive, South Bend, Indiana, spoke in favor of <br />Bill No. 30-10. She stated that she understands that the Council is busy with negotiations <br />and budget hearings. Ms. Pittman advised that she is urging the Council to put Bill No. <br />30-10 to the final vote. Ms Pittman filed with City Clerk John Voorde, signed petitions to <br />schedule Bill No. 30-10 for a final vote. <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, President Derek D.
