Still to be done are heaters in the dugouts, and new field lighting will be installed. <br />Planning is still underway to have a center field entrance and a new entrance on Williams <br />Street. This would utilize the old synagogue building as a ticketing office and storage <br />area. A new commissary building would be erected in left field. <br />Funding sources are being explored and he hoped to be back in August to get approval for <br />the next phase. <br /> <br />III. The next order of business was unfinished business. <br /> <br />1. Request to Approve 2011 Fees- Paul McMinn <br />Mr. McMinn asked if the Board had any questions concerning the fees that Ms. O’Connor <br />presented to the Board last month. There being no questions, he asked for approval of the <br />2011 fees. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the 2011 fees as presented by Ms. O’Connor. Mr. <br />Mullins seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />2. Request to Award Paving Quotes at Potawatomi Zoo- Terry DeRosa <br />Director DeRosa requested that the quote be awarded to Arnt Asphalt Sealing, Inc. in the <br />amount of $48,630. Walsh & Kelly quoted $79,985 and Rieth Riley quoted $92,200. He <br />stated that each contractor was shown the areas to be paved on a tour through the Zoo. <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to award the project to Arnt Asphalt Sealing, Inc. for the <br />amount of $48,630. Dr. Kelly seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> <br />IV. The next order of business was new business. <br /> <br />1. Arborist License Renewals-The following license application was presented for <br />approval by the Board: <br /> A. West Landscape, LLC <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to accept the renewal of the arborist license and Mr. Mullins <br />seconded the motion. It was passed <br />2. Requests for Use of Parks- Betsy Harriman <br />Ms. Harriman introduced Ms.Cane of the Greater Holy Temple Church to explain the <br />walkathon they are planning for August 28, 2010. <br />Ms Harriman recommended approval of the request. <br />Ms. Harriman requested the Board approve the following requests: <br />a. Seitz Park- Bridges Over Poverty- 8/28/10 <br /> b. Howard Park/ Riverwalk- Greater Holy Temple Walk- 8/28/10 <br />c. Potawatomi Park- Rotary Club Corn Roast to Eradicate Polio- 8/15/10 <br />Dr. Kelly made the motion to approve the above requests and it was seconded by Mr. <br />Mullins. The motion was approved. <br />3. Opening and Request to Award Plaza Park Wall Repair Project- Terry Conley <br />Mr. Conley presented three sealed quotes. They were: <br /> a. The Robert Henry Corp.- $53,086, alt #1 $1,550 <br /> b. Northern Indiana Construction- $63,330, alt #1 $6,150 <br /> c. LL Geans- $47,242, no alternate <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
