Still to be done are heaters in the dugouts, and new field lighting will be installed. Planning is still underway to have a center field entrance and a new entrance on Williams Street. This would utilize the old synagogue building as a ticketing office and storage area. A new commissary building would be erected in left field. Funding sources are being explored and he hoped to be back in August to get approval for the next phase. III. The next order of business was unfinished business. 1. Request to Approve 2011 Fees- Paul McMinn Mr. McMinn asked if the Board had any questions concerning the fees that Ms. O’Connor presented to the Board last month. There being no questions, he asked for approval of the 2011 fees. Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the 2011 fees as presented by Ms. O’Connor. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it was passed. 2. Request to Award Paving Quotes at Potawatomi Zoo- Terry DeRosa Director DeRosa requested that the quote be awarded to Arnt Asphalt Sealing, Inc. in the amount of $48,630. Walsh & Kelly quoted $79,985 and Rieth Riley quoted $92,200. He stated that each contractor was shown the areas to be paved on a tour through the Zoo. Mr. Mullins made a motion to award the project to Arnt Asphalt Sealing, Inc. for the amount of $48,630. Dr. Kelly seconded the motion and it was passed. IV. The next order of business was new business. 1. Arborist License Renewals-The following license application was presented for approval by the Board: A. West Landscape, LLC Dr. Kelly made a motion to accept the renewal of the arborist license and Mr. Mullins seconded the motion. It was passed 2. Requests for Use of Parks- Betsy Harriman Ms. Harriman introduced Ms.Cane of the Greater Holy Temple Church to explain the walkathon they are planning for August 28, 2010. Ms Harriman recommended approval of the request. Ms. Harriman requested the Board approve the following requests: a. Seitz Park- Bridges Over Poverty- 8/28/10 b. Howard Park/ Riverwalk- Greater Holy Temple Walk- 8/28/10 c. Potawatomi Park- Rotary Club Corn Roast to Eradicate Polio- 8/15/10 Dr. Kelly made the motion to approve the above requests and it was seconded by Mr. Mullins. The motion was approved. 3. Opening and Request to Award Plaza Park Wall Repair Project- Terry Conley Mr. Conley presented three sealed quotes. They were: a. The Robert Henry Corp.- $53,086, alt #1 $1,550 b.
