South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting –August 6, 2010

6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.)

B. Airport Economic Development Area

(10) continued…

According to the City’s zoning ordinance,
private clubs can only locate in the Mixed
Use or Local Business zoned areas of the
City. Within these areas, a private club must
seek a special exception, requiring them to
go before the Area Plan Commission and
Common Council for approval. This club is
going from a Mixed Use to a Mixed Use
area.

Total project services cost is $3,150, which
includes the preparation of all documents
necessary to seek this special exception.
Also included in this proposal is the
representation needed to go before Area Plan
and the Common Council.
