They <br />don’t limit the city’s liability for anything it <br />has done to the property, but they do absolve <br />the city of any liability for prior acts that led <br />to the current condition of the property. The <br />city also has protection under the Indiana <br />state statute, which adopts the Circla federal <br />environmental statute which provides <br />protection for a governmental entity that <br />accepts transfer from another governmental <br />entity.
