Community and Economic Development Committee <br />July 12, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />There was no one from the public to speak in favor or in opposition to the Bill. <br />Council Member White made a motion, seconded by Council Member Puzzello that Bill No. 10-33 be <br />recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Council Member Henry Davis, Jr., noted that an article appeared in the Saturday edition of the South <br />Bend Tribune written by Margaret Fosmoe on LaSalle Square. He stated that it raised many good <br />questions and concerns regarding the signage, the parking lots among others. He questioned how <br />much pressure was being applied to get these items addressed by the City Administration. <br />Council Member Rouse noted that he is aware that the owner will be taking action regarding the sign <br />as soon as possible. <br />Council Member White added that she had a conversation in passing regarding the sign, and that it was <br />her understanding that it would be addressed. <br />Council Member Rouse stated that the Mayor is present and that he is sure that the concerns raised in <br />that article will be addressed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Rouse adjourned the <br />Committee meeting at 4:40 p.m. <br />Respectfully subm'tted, <br />Council Member 'mothy A.
