Mr. Taylor stated that he has a business relationship with the principals in this annexation process, and will abstain from voting. ' Upon a motion made by Ms. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Alford and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Safety: RESOLUTION N0.25-2005 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ADOPTING AN AMENDED WRITTEN FISCAL PLAN AND ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO AN ANNEXATION AREA IN GERMAN TOWNSHIP (WAGGONER'S DAIRY FARM, INC. ANNEXATION AREA) WHEREAS, on March 30, 2005, by Resolution No. 23-2005, this Board of Public Safety adopted a Written Fiscal Plan for the proposed annexation area; and WHEREAS, the Written Fiscal Plan which this Board approved on March 30, 2005 has been amended to include additional information relevant to the provision of fire protection services to the annexation territory, but has not been amended in any other way; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Safety now wishes to reaffirm and incorporate its approval of the previously submitted Fiscal Plan as well as the terms of the amended Fiscal Plan attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. The terms of the Board of Public Safety Resolution No. 23-2005 dated March 30, 2005 adopting a Fiscal Plan for the furnishing of services to the territory to be annexed is affirmed. Section II. The terms of the Amended Fiscal Plan which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for the furnishing of services to this annexation area which include new terms for the expansion of fire protection services to the annexation area is also approved and adopted by this Board of Public Safety. Jacob, Clerk POLICE DEPARTMENT APPROVAL OF PROMOTION - KEENAN LANE -Chief Thomas Fautz requested that Patrolman Keenan Lane be promoted to the rank of Corporal effective April 24, 2005. Upon a motion made by Ms. Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Taylor and carried, the request was approved.
