Request to Approve Transfer of Ownership for Watson Park to Salvation Army <br />Mayor Luecke reviewed the process to date of the Kroc Center in South Bend. He <br />requested the Board approve the transfer of Alonzo Watson Park to the Board of Works, <br />to be consolidated with an additional parcel, before being transferred to the Salvation <br />Army for construction of the Kroc Center. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the transfer of the Alonzo Watson Park to the Board <br />of Public Works. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />Resolution 2010-2 was signed that ratified the transfer. <br />3. Request to Approve Transfer of Ownership for Parcel at 805 Lafayette to Park <br /> Department from Near North Neighborhood Association <br />Director St. Clair requested the Board to approve the transfer of a small parcel of land at <br />the above address to the Park Department from the Near North Neighborhood <br />Association. It is adjacent to the northwest corner of Leeper Park. <br />Mr. Goodrich made a motion to accept the donation of the parcel. Dr. Kelly seconded the <br />motion and it was passed. <br />4. Opening of Quotes for Leeper Maintenance Building Roof Repair- Mike Dyszkiewicz <br />Mr. Dyszkiewicz presented three sealed quotes for consideration. They were opened and <br />reviewed by Mr. Bodnar. <br /> Dudeck Roofing and Sheet Metal- $33,240 <br /> Bluth Bros Roofing- $31,650 <br /> Lawmasters, Inc.- $30,500 <br />The quotes were referred to staff for recommendation and award later in the meeting. <br />5. Request to Approve Events with Fiddler’s Hearth- Paula Garis <br /> Ms. Garis, Special Events Coordinator, requested the Board approve a request for <br />Fiddler’s Hearth’s sponsorship of two events. The first is the “Celtic Showcase” on July <br />25, 2010 at Seitz Park from 1-7 pm. The second is the “Michiana Celtic Festival” on <br />September 5, 2010 from 9 am to 7 pm in Howard Park. <br /> Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the requests. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it <br />was passed. <br />6. Arborist License Approval <br />The following license application was presented for approval by the Board: <br /> a.
