South Bend Central Development Area <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br />flow and increased on-street parking. <br /> <br />The proposal for work totals $120,000.00 <br />and includes field survey, preliminary design, <br />final design, bid and construction services. It <br />is estimated that a final set of plans for <br />Jefferson will be ready for bidding by late <br />summer 2010. <br /> <br />CRN.2670 <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED ESOLUTION O <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />AMA <br />AN DDENDUM TO THE ASTER GENCY <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2670 <br />A(J&NS <br />GREEMENT EFFERSON ILES TREETSCAPE <br />approving and authorizing execution of an <br />M&I <br />ODERNIZATION NTERSECTION <br />Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement <br />I) <br />MPROVEMENTS <br />(Jefferson & Niles Streetscape <br />Modernization & Intersection Improvements) <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Professional Services related to former <br />Fred’s Transmission site, 507 W. Western <br />Ave. (Asbestos Inspection, Environmental <br />Assessment and Demolition Specifications) <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the Commission has <br />owned the former Fred’s Transmission since <br />December 2009. We now need to prepare <br />demolition specifications for the site, <br />including proper documentation for the <br />demolition. <br /> <br />Wightman Petrie has submitted a proposal in <br />the amount of $14,500. The proposal also <br />gives a price for Demolition Inspection and <br />Construction Engineering Services at an <br />amount of $12,720. The total project <br />proposal is a not-to-exceed amount of <br />$27,220. <br /> 12 <br /> <br />
