South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –April 23, 2010 <br /> <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Public Hearings <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br />newspaper on April 9, 2010; and an affidavit <br />from Richard Andrysiak, Classified Manager <br />of the Tri-County News, that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that newspaper on <br />April 9, 2010. <br /> <br />Ms. Leonard noted that Resolution No. 2663 <br />appropriates $399,000 for payment of debt <br />service on the Century Center bond from the <br />South Bend Central Allocation Area No. 1A <br />Special Fund. The funds to make the <br />payment will come from the Hotel-Motel <br />Tax Board and be deposited into the fund, <br />but must be allocated before using the funds <br />for debt service. <br /> <br />CPH <br />Ms. Jones noted that there were some errors <br />ONTINUATION OF UBLIC EARING ON <br />RN.2663 <br />ESOLUTION O <br />in the original Notice of Hearing, so the <br />notice needed to be republished. The Public <br />Hearing was opened at the Commission’s <br />meeting on April 9 to accommodate anyone <br />who might have appeared at the April 9 <br />meeting to speak. The Public Hearing was <br />then continued until today to allow the notice <br />to be republished. Ms. Jones reopened the <br />Public Hearing for anyone who wished to <br />speak. There was no one who wished to <br />speak regarding Resolution No. 2663.
