Mr. Nowacki reported that staff is going through equipment getting ready for the season to <br />start. <br /> <br />1.The tree crew is doing trimming and removals on the courses. <br /> <br />2.Mr. Nowacki requested permission to solicit for chemical and fertilizer bids. They would <br />be opened at the February meeting and awarded at the March meeting. <br />Mr. Goodrich made a motion to approve the request to solicit bids for chemicals and <br />fertilizers. Dr. Kelly seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> <br /> <br />XI.Comments by Maintenance Superintendent <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Dyszkiewicz gave his annual report for the Maintenance Division. <br /> <br /> <br />XII.Comments by the Development Director <br /> <br />1. Mr. Payton commented that Marketing is putting together the annual report <br />2. The Concert Series is being solicited for from a number of sources. <br />3. Advertising for the Fitness Center and other programs has been running in the Tribune. <br />4. The online registration is planned to be ready by the middle of March. <br />5. The Park Foundation board interviews are on going. <br /> <br /> <br />XIII.Comments by the Zoo Director <br /> <br />1. Mr. DeRosa reported that 486 visitors participated in the recent Winter Day at the Zoo. <br />2.
