Co. appefred and submitted proposed fit Lighting, as follows, PROPO SAL. TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE - CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. ` The undersigned hereby y proposes to furnish electric service for lighting that portion of Michigan Street in said City lying betwe Ohio Street&net Broaway, in accordance with the plans and specifioa- tions therefor heretofore adopted by Board of Public Works, at the prices per annum for each lamp lighted as follows: For furnishing, lighting and maintaining each of said 6000 Lumen Incandescent Lamps, Iron post, Grp-gan Senior Opalescent unit, or equivalent unit. Per 'unit per annum. 1 4 V.00 The undersigned agrees hereby to execute the contraot.in the fora heretofore adopted by said Board of Public works within ten days from the date of the awarding `of the contract to it. This agreement, made and entered into thls 22nd, day of July 19259 between the City of South Bend, a municipal corporation of hhe State of Indiana, by and through its Board of Public 'Works, party of the first part hereinafter referred to as the city, and Indiana & Michigan,. Elep,r.ie Compeer,_ party of the second part hereinafter refers to as the Contractor, pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Public Works, passed at a meeting held on the 22yid day of July 1925. That the parties hereto, each in consideration # the agreements on the party of the other, herein contained, have mutually agreed and hereby mutually agree as follows:.. 1. Tie Contractor shall provide and maintain a street lighting syl tem in the City of South Bend, Indiana, sonsist,ing of fifteen street le lamps supplied from the underground distribution system of the Contractor. Such underground lamps shall be as follows:- 15- 6000 Lumen Incandescent Lamps, Iron Post, Egyptian Senior Opalescent unit 4r equivalent unit. All property used in the performance of this contract shalt %W and remain the property of the Contractor.
