After hearing <br />the Beard decide;: that .;he b4nefits to property. liabel to be assessed for said <br />improvement, are a 481 to the estimated cost f'the same, emd the Beard therefore <br />now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and -considering <br />sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement fixed as June 16th., <br />1925 at 1€1:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. <br />The following resolutions were adopterd:$ <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1503;. Pavement on alley north of Cedar <br />Street from St. Louis Blvd, to St. Peter Street, adopted reading as follows, <br />to -wit: (,Insert see Files.) Adopted -and filed. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1504. Grade, curb and walk an Eddy St. <br />from St.' Vincent Street to Napoleon Street, adopted reading as f'ollews:to-wit: <br />( Insert see files.) Adopted and filed. <br />Petitions received react and placed on file as follows: - <br />Asphalt pavement on Castpau Street from Frances Street to East end of <br />Coquillard Park. <br />Asphalt pavement on South Scott Street from W. Indiana Avenue to W. <br />Calvert Street. <br />Pavement on South Scott Street from Indiana Avenue to the railroado <br />Supt. of Lights Win. quails filed report on petitios filed May 19th.,l11 <br />1925 for Blvd. lights on Rose Street and Kessler Blvd, Blvd. Lights not being <br />extended except on Boulevards of any. Filed. <br />In re: Comp"int about tree which is in way of lamp Post in front of <br />918 Diamond Avenue, Reports tree to be cut.down or'lamp post moved to north side <br />of driveway. Reported to Board that John Nihart lot owner agrees to remove <br />tree.in fall of 1925 and meantime to protect and bear expense of breakage of <br />globes. <br />Do not recommend installation of light at 31st Street and Pleasant <br />Street.' Recommendation approved. <br />A 100 C. P. Light ordered installed at intersection of alley running <br />.east and west, and laying between Franklin Street and William Street and south of <br />Division Street. <br />Partial -estimate No. 1 for grade curb and walk on Wayne Street from <br />18th. Anderson <br />City Civil Engineer. <br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Talbot Avenue from <br />Howard Street to South Bend Avenue in pursuance to Resolution No. 1456 the <br />petition of freeholders residing on said street is considered, and the report of <br />the City-Engneer is received and all evidence is heard, and the Board of PUblic <br />Works finds that paid petitioners constitute a anjority in number of the free- <br />holders residing upon said street to be improved, and that said petition i`s buf- <br />ficient and it is therefore considered and adjudged that said improvement be made <br />with Sheet asphalt the kind -of pavement requested in said petition; and the City <br />Engineer reports that Albert Construation Company is the lowest and best bidder d <br />for said I nvement, and the .Board so finds,.and lets the conact for said improve <br />to him or them, end orders that said improvemenot <br />t to be made with Sheet asphalt, <br />using maxican- Asphalt and all proceedings heret0re. had in this matter are hereby <br />confirmed and ratified. <br />
