Wednesday May 27th., 1925. <br />Board met in` special session at 9:00 A.M. All memberspresent. <br />Matter of a contract with the Else Co.' for lights in-Srinnymede <br />Addition disoussed'with Mr. Qualls and Mayor Seebirt. Mr. Qualls instructed to take <br />this matter up with Elea. Company. , <br />. Bids were received., opened and read for water connections on Talbot <br />Avenue from Howard Street to South Bend Avenue. Bids were submitted by Wit. H. Burke <br />and. Rocco Simeri, also on Parkevash Avenue from Lafayett* -Street to IrogVois Street, <br />Referred to Engineer for tabimlation to be reported at 7:15 P.M. this 27th. day of May <br />1925. <br />Bids were submitted by Hibberd Printigg,Company and ,Peterson Prtg. <br />Company on Ordinance for fund for Cenjetery Lots. Contraact awarded to. Hibberd. Prtg.. <br />Company for 2000 books at..,...J 42.50. <br />Minutes of meetings held Wednesday May <br />22nd., 1925 read and approved. <br />a <br />r a <br />Attest:. <br />Clark of the Board. <br />Wednesday May 27th., 1925. <br />20th., 1925 and.Friday May <br />a <br />P esident. <br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present. <br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Twenty first Street from <br />Mishawaka Avenue to Pleasaht Street as provided in Improvement Pesolu�ion No. 1488 <br />In the above matter a remonstrator appeared but no written remonstrance was filed. <br />After hearing, the Board decides that the benefits to property,littble to be assessed <br />for said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board thereto <br />now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed <br />proposals for the construction of said improvement fixed as June 16th., 1925 at <br />10:00 A M and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. <br />Hering -had on resolution for 0avement on Twenty seventh•Street, from <br />Mishawaka Avenue to Pleasant Street as provided'in'improvemeat Resolution No*'1487 <br />In the Sbove natter no remonstrators appeared and.no written remonstrance was filed, <br />After hearing, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed <br />gor said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board therefo <br />now confirms the said resolution. Date For receiving, opening and considering sealed <br />proposals for the construction of said pavement fixed as June 16th., 1925--at 10:00 A.M. <br />and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. <br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Vassar,Avenue. from <br />Portage Avenue to Lawndale Avenue as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1486, <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance filed. lProperty owners appeared and <br />discussed matter of sewer in first block, same to be put in by private contract. ) <br />Adtter hearing, the Board decides that the benefits tomproperty liable to be assessed <br />for said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and.the Board.therefo <br />now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering healed_ <br />proposals for the construction of said anti improvement fixed as June 16th., 1925 at <br />10:00 -A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. <br />This being the date set for the deferred hearing on roll of awards <br />of damages and assessments of benefits for the Opening of a street from Colfax Avenue to <br />Lincoln Way West, and from Marion Street to °Navarre Street (.Known egad as Wiliam St. <br />under Condemnation Resolution No. 8-3. Ira, tahe above matter remonstrators appeared but <br />no further written remonstrance was filed. Afterheaaring all parties present said <br />hearing is how continued until Wednesday June 10th.9 1925 at 7:15 P.M. <br />
