yg�- y, <br />`1.i r <br />22nd., 1925, Continued. <br />The following filed by Edward Roesller.. <br />To the Honorable Board of P ublio Works <br />of the City,of South Bond, Indiana. <br />Im the -matler of Condemnation Resolution No. 83 for the opening of a <br />Street between Colfax Avenue and Lae Salle Avenue and Lincoln Way West <br />and from Marian Street to Navarre Street known as William Street, <br />Replying to your proposition handed the undersigned by your Mr., <br />Cla ghter Veneerning a reduction of thirty (30 per cunt) in the assessment wade <br />against the property of the undersigned in the above entitled matter, would say <br />that said vedurition is' not satisfactory mo the undersigned for the reason that <br />the assessment levied against Let numbered Forty seven (47) Hendrick's and <br />Grant's Addi-tion-to -Vh*- City of South Bend would still be excessive; that the <br />said property is not benefitted in the amount of the assessment that would <br />still be levied against said property with said thirty (30 per cent peduation. <br />If This honorable Board see fit to make a reduction in said assessment <br />of fifty (50 per Dent), although the undersigned would still believe said assess <br />ment excessive, yet for the purpose of avoiding litigation, said undersigned <br />would be willing to withdrew the remonstrance filed and pay said assessment <br />reduced by fifty (50 per cent ) <br />If your Honorable Board desires to make one assessment against lots <br />numbe ed forty-one (41) Forty two (42) and forty seven (47) in Henrdek's and <br />Grant's Addition, that is,,group all three lots under one assessmenV you amy <br />do so, ..provided there is a reduction of fifty (50 per cent in the assessment le <br />levieo against all of said lots. <br />Respectfully submitted this 21st. day of May 1925, <br />Signed Ed F.
