Wednesda <br />May 20th.0 1925. <br />609 <br />Board mjt in special session -at 9:00 A.M. All members present. <br />Mayor Seebirt present. <br />Street Commissioner ordered to •round off corners of intersection of <br />Ford and Walnut Streets under plans toabe made by the City Engineer. <br />New Hyzdrant ordered at the. corner of Fassnacht Avenue and Brookfield <br />Street. <br />Mayor Seebirt, Philip Bondurant, Ed Neddo and Frank J, Anderson <br />met with the Board and discussed the assessment Of benefits and awards of damages on <br />the Opening of William Street. <br />Attest* <br />Clerk of the Boar <br />Wednesday May 20th., 1925. <br />4 'a6 <br />Presi pInte <br />_ Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present. <br />Meeting adjourned fvvm office'of the Board to the Gemon Council Chambers in the City <br />Hall at 7:30 P.M. <br />This being the date set for deferred hearing on roll of awards of <br />damages and assessments of benefits for the opening of a street from Colfax Avenue to <br />Lincoln Way Pest and from Marion Street to Navarre Street, ( known as William Street) <br />under Condemnation Resolution No, 83. <br />In the above matter a number of property owners appeared,who had <br />signed written remonstrances and a written remonstrance was filed by R. Isenberg*r <br />of 515 Sharron Ct.Atty. John Hibberd signed agreement for a thirty per cent reduction <br />in benefits. Atty Bertsch representing Mrs. Mary Meyers agreed to tkke this matter <br />tp,with Mrs. Meyers and report later. Atty. Frank Gilmer representing Mrs. Dora J. <br />Staples took up and discussed written remonstrance but no agreement signed. <br />Atty. A. E. Martin representing Messrs. Mentaras and Csalle disonased written remon- <br />stranoe but ho agreement signed. Trustees of St. Pauls Evang. Church on Le Salle <br />Avenue appeared and remonstrated verbally against a.$600.00 benefits but no written <br />remonstrance was filed. Appraisers Ed Neddo Philip Bondurant and Frank J. Anderson <br />present. After hearing all interested parties present.hearing deferred until Wednesday <br />May 27th., 1925 at 7:15 P.M., <br />Clerk instructed to notify different parties who had written <br />remonstrances on.file to appear at various time set on Friday May 22nd.11925. <br />at meeting to be held in the office of the Board. <br />• Hearing had on roll of awards of •damages and assessments of bene- <br />fits in the matter of the Opening of Colfax Avenue from Eddy Street to Sunnyside <br />Avenue under Condemnation Resolution No. 88. <br />-In the above smatter no remons, trators appeared and 'no written <br />remonstrance was filed..,_ The Board find tYiat after hewing all interested parties <br />separately anal severally confirm and sustain each assessment of benefit and each <br />award of damages as heretofore made in said procee4ings; The Board further oonfirm <br />and sustain each and every award of dame ges and every assessment of benefits heretof <br />made and said proceedings akC all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 88 is here <br />concluded. ( See files for copy of roll). Damages and benefits ($7,045.00) <br />
