Davis Building Commissioner with Juluis Christman <br />Contractor appeared and asked information regarding the changing of their plans <br />In the building of a new wall on the south side of their building at the corner <br />of Colfax Avenue and Main Street , instead of -repairing the old wall. Mr. Davis <br />Building Commissioner upon questioning made the statement that the entire <br />building was to be taken as one unit and the single store roan on the corner <br />and under the estimate of the repairs are less than 50por cent of the value of <br />the BvilcUng ,is still within the jurisdiction of the Building Code. The <br />Building Commissioner was informed that if the repairs were allowed under the <br />Building Code the Board had no jurisdiction . If the repairs exceed the amount <br />permitted by the Building Code any action by the Board would nullify the Code <br />and any action which the Board would direct to take. <br />Engineer signed assessment rolls anf final estimates as <br />follows: - <br />Shoot asphalt pavement on 33rd.
