<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
<br />ST. JOSEBH COUNTY, STATE OF INDIANA, that it is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />improve Warren Street from Division Street to -Grand Trunk Railway Tracks, as
<br />fi l lows,
<br />Said Street shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall be paved,�and
<br />also the roadway of certain portions of the streets and alleys which enter or ,
<br />intersect said street shall be graded and' paved. The paving material to ire ,Used in
<br />baking said improvement shall be Sheet Asphalt, Bituiithic, Asphaltic Concrete,
<br />Brick or
<br />Portland 'Cement Concrete Pavement seven (7) inches thick, and the foun-
<br />dation shall be Portland cement concrete six (6) inches thick for the sheep, asphalt;
<br />bitulith:ic, asphaltic concrete and brick , or rolled gravel six (6) inches thick
<br />for the brick, also dement curb shall be constructed along said street where 'same,
<br />is necessary and not already constructed, manholes, storm seater inlets and conduits
<br />shall.be.00nstructed where necessary, all manhole tops and storm water inlets
<br />shall be set to the proper grade, cement marginal curb shall be constructed at all
<br />street and alley intersections where necessary, all as is more Particularly shown
<br />and all in accordance xith the plans,: prdiles, detail drawings and specifications
<br />on file in the Office of the Department of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WOKS OF THE CITY OF ;SOUTH BEND,
<br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, STATE OF INDIANA, that it is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />improve Lafayette Street from a point 445 feet south of Bronson Street to the
<br />North curb line of Sample Street, as follows, to -wit: -
<br />The roadway of said Lafayette Street shall be widened to a uniform width
<br />Of fifty-two and one half (521) feet. All that portion of the street to be added
<br />to the present roadway and certain portions of streets and alleys which enter or
<br />Intersect said Lafayette Street from a point 445 feet south of Bronson Street to
<br />the north curb line of Sample Street shall be graded and paved, and a strip ap-
<br />proximately five feet snide on each side of the present roadway adjacent to the,
<br />present curbs shall be resurfaced so as to give proper cross-section to the
<br />finished pavement.
<br />The paving material to be used in making said improvement shall be
<br />Sheet Asphalt, Bitulithic, Asphaltic Concrete, Brick or Portland Cement Concrete
<br />Pavement seven (7) inches thick, and the foundation shall be portland cement con -
<br />Crete six (6) inches thick for sheet asphalt, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete and
<br />brick, or roiled gravel six (6) inches thick for the brick, also cement curb
<br />shall be constructed along said street where same is necessary and not already
<br />oonstructed, ,r.,manholes, storm water inlets and conduits shall be constructed where
