South Side Development Area <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br /> documentation related to the Erskine Plaza <br />Pond Project. <br /> <br />Hawbaker Parcels <br />There are three parcels on Hawbaker Street <br />that will require acquisition to facilitate the <br />construction of the new pond. The properties <br />are located at 722,736, and 748 Hawbaker <br />Street. The property at 748 is vacant due to <br />fire damage, and the properties at 722 and <br />736 are both presently occupied. <br /> <br />There are two parcels that make up the <br />existing two-pond system and both properties <br />are owned by the City of South Bend. There <br />is a third property, owned by a private party, <br />that serves as the north/south driveway <br />connector located at the western end of the <br />interior pond. <br /> <br />Declaratory Resolution No. 2658 <br />Attached to this memorandum is Declaratory <br />Resolution No. 2658 which would amend the <br />South Side Development Area Development <br />Plan and the associated acquisition list by <br />proposing to add six properties to the <br />acquisition list. The properties to be added ti <br />the list include the three properties on <br />Hawbaker Street, the two City owned <br />properties currently used as a pond, and the <br />property presently being used as the drive <br />lane.
