West Washington-Chapin Development Area <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />There was no business in the West Washington- <br />Chapin Development Area. <br /> <br /> <br /> F. South Side Development Area <br /> <br /> <br />(1) Staff report on acquisition of property in <br />the South Side Development Area. <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that on January 15, 2010, <br />the Commission was presented with a project <br />overview of the Erskine Plaza Pond Project <br />proposed to occur in the southwestern <br />quadrant of the intersection of Ireland and <br />Miami. As part of the project presentation, <br />the Commission was presented with <br />information about the proposal to relocate the <br />existing Miami Street pond to a new location <br />along the south side of Hawbaker Street. To <br />accomplish this action, three properties along <br />Hawbaker would need to be acquired to <br />facilitate this plan. <br /> <br />On February 5, 2010, the Commission <br />approved Resolution No. 2647 and an <br />Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement <br />to authorize the South Bend Board of Public <br />Works to procure professional design <br />services from Christopher B. Burke <br />Engineering to design and create construction <br /> 74 <br /> <br />
