Discussion and proposed scheduling of Neighborhood Walks Schedule. Three districts walking <br /> tours were proposed. <br /> 2. Committee members attended Environment Protection Agency (EPA) meeting regarding LaSalle <br /> Park/Beck's Lake status. <br /> 3. Attended Community Forum on the issues surrounding Lead Prisoning. It was reported and <br /> discussed that there is a high percentage of childhood lead exposure on the city's near <br /> northwest side. <br /> 4. The Administration gave an update on "Light Up South Bend" initiative. <br /> 5. Discussed the importance of increasing in the City's Budget additional funding for sidewalks and <br /> curbs and the "Light Up South Bend" initiatives. <br /> The Residential Neighborhoods Committee will continue to focus on our neighborhoods and quality of <br /> life issues.
