Douglas and show your Honorable Board <br />that. they are the owners in fee and are in possession of the following described real <br />estate, located in the City of South Bend, St, Joseph Counby, IndianA, to -wit: <br />Lot numbered Three Hundred Ei hty�aight (388) and Fort I've ((45)) Pea <br />taken off of and from the South e►nrl of Lot fto&ered The Hundred Ei ty- <br />seven (387) as shown on the recorded plat of Vassar Park to the city of <br />South Bend, <br />That.a sewer has been placed on Humbolt S treat in said city immediately to <br />the South of the above described real estate and that they were previously assessed <br />by -your Honorable Body in the amouat of $132.81 which sum petitioners believe to be <br />unjust andexcessive, in as much as they have already been assessed for the sewer on <br />Blain Avenue which runs to the front of the above described real estate and they are now <br />paying the same. <br />They further show the Board that there is arestriction in their dadd which <br />prevents them from building any additional house on the above described real estate <br />until the year 1945 and that it is impossible for them to get any service or use out of <br />this sewer on said Humbolt street. <br />WHEREFORE, they pray yur Honorable Board that they be reimbursed in the <br />amount of $75.00 for over -assessment and unjust assessment on the above named Humbolt <br />Street sewer.
