+ STREET AND ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1285.
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD-69 PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY ,-STATE OF INDIANA, That it.is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />impilove Jefferson Street from LaFayette Boulevard to T.,aylor Street. as follows, to -wit:
<br />Said Jefferson Street shall be goaded and the roadway thereof shall be
<br />widened, -to a width of 52'=`fee,4 and paved, also the roadways of certain portions. of
<br />the streets and. alleys which enter or, intersect said street -shall be graded and paved,
<br />The paving material to be used in making said improvement'shall be Sheet Asphalt,
<br />Bitulithic, Asphaltic Concrete or Brick, and the foundation shall be'portlarid cement
<br />concrete six--(6) inches thick -fox the sheet asphalt; bitulithie, asphalticeconerete
<br />and brick, algo cement curb -shall be constructed along both sides of said street,
<br />storm water inlets and conduits shall be constructed where necessary; all rAnhole tops
<br />and storm water inlets shall be set to .the proper grade, cement marginal curb shall be
<br />constructed at all'street and alley intersections where necessary, all as'is more
<br />particularly shown and all in ace ordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings
<br />and specifications on file. in the Office of the Department of Public.Works of the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.•
