FE <br />Permission is hereby granted to Indiana Bell Tele phone Company to place <br />4 inch�sewrr the from pole locstdd in the rear of 615 Riverside Drive approximately <br />60 ft. east of existing pole located in the alley between Hammond Court and Navarre Street <br />west of St. Joseph Street. <br />Petition received read and placed on file for pavement on Dubail Avenue <br />from, Prairie Avenue to Kemble Avenue, <br />Petition filed and resolution ordered for sewer on Kosciuszko Street <br />from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue. <br />Inspector reported as follows on complaints andppetitions. <br />Recommend arc light plaoed at corner of Ewing Avenue and Leer Street: <br />Recommended are light placed at corner of Carroll Street and Eckman St. <br />Petition filed for light, at 1723 Lincon Way East between Robinson St. and <br />Springbrook ,Same referred to inspector for report. <br />Excavation bond of Arthur W. Deppert approved. <br />Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for grade, curb and walk <br />on Angella Avenue from Iroquois Street to 1st. alley west of Iroquois.Strest, also Osteme <br />Avenue frog Iroquois Street to 2nd. alley west of Iroquois Street, also the west -g' of <br />Iroquois Street from alley north of Parkovash Avenue to alley north of Angella Avenue. <br />Under improvemen*e$8f4;4tttN%neliiRirework under the above resolutions and contracts <br />let thereunder be in all things accepted and aproved and that said final estimate be allowed. <br />Resolved that notices in forms required by law be waived and that the <br />13th. day of February 1924 at 7:14 P. M. at the office of said Board in the City Hall, South <br />Bend, Indiana be the time and place when this Board will receive and hear remonstrances <br />against the amounts assessed against each lot and parcel of land on said roll and will hear <br />and determine whether such lots and parcels of land will be specially benefitted by said <br />improvement by the amounts stated and set forth in said rolls. <br />The following communication received from Jones, Montgomery and Obenehain <br />Atty.s read and placed on file. <br />Feb. 2,1924. <br />Mr. L. Salguther, <br />President, Board of Public Works, <br />City Hall, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Dear Sir :- . <br />We have just receive final work from our clients relative to the proceedings <br />now pending before the Board of Public Works for the vaeanies of a part of Meade Street. <br />Our clients have come to the conclusion that the demands of the land owners <br />are so great that it would be inadvisable at this time to continue the proceedings further. <br />We therefore indicate our desire that the proceeding be dismissed. <br />RO : JE.
