It has been in.eonstant service durimg'this time and because of this faet.and also because it will need more or less attention from now ens I would recommend that it now be replaced with a new machine. The -local Royal Typewriter salesman has made the fallowing proposition the price of a new machine to the City of $92.25 with an allewnwe to,$30.00 for the old machine making a net cost of $62. 25. Walnut .and which was approved by the Board. Alley Jan. 29s1924. To the Honorable Board of Public Works# Gentlemen:- The sketch below will illustrate the situation in the district covered by attached petition. The petitioners claim that the light from the Aro lights at Maple Street and Walnut Street is obstructed by trees and that the light on the corner of Spruce Street and alley is also obstructed by trees. In the o inion of the writer the only relief that can be given is to locate another incrldescent light at corner of Spruce and Colfax Avenue. IRM. E. QUALLS AS APPROVED JAN. •22nd., 1924.
