South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –March 5, 2010 <br /> <br />C <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO <br />Ms. King and unanimously carried, the <br />NCSS. <br />ORTHWEST ORNER YCAMORE T AND <br />Commission approved the proposal for <br />CA.I <br />OLFAX VENUE N AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />professional services related to Northwest <br />$3,000/(RR) <br />EXCEED FORMER INK IVERSIDE SITE <br />Corner Sycamore St. and Colfax Avenue. In <br />an amount not to exceed $3,000/ (former <br />Rink Riverside site) <br /> <br /> <br />(5) Resolution No. 2659 approving and <br />authorizing the execution of an Addendum <br />to the Master Agency Agreement <br />(Coveleski Stadium Improvements Phase <br />1A, Project 1) <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that on February 5, 2010 <br />the Commission approved a Resolution and <br />addendum to master agency agreement with <br />Populous for the design and construction <br />planning for Phase 1A improvements to <br />Coveleski Stadium. As we are completing <br />the design and specifications, we are ready to <br />move forward to bid those projects. Phase <br />1A of Project 1 is for Field Lighting, Field <br />Wall Pads and Backstop Netting. These <br />three items are in the process of being quoted <br />through the South Bend Board of Public <br />Works and it is anticipated that quotes will <br />be received by the Board on March 15, 2010. <br />The project, based on an engineer’s estimate, <br />should not exceed $750,000, depending on <br />the options that are most appropriate for the <br />project. This approval is necessary to <br />authorize funding to allow for the quotes to <br />be awarded on March 15th and allow <br />Project 1 to move forward as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br />As part of Exhibit A of the Addendum, staff <br />recommends a not-to-exceed budget amount <br />of $750,000 for Project 1. Staff doesn’t <br />expect the quotes to be that high. Mr. <br />Schalliol will report back on March 19 how <br /> 25 <br /> <br />
