Iu_. Mr. H. G. Wray absent. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessrpent roll <br />for the grade, curb and vialk improvement on Chicago Street from Divisioh Street to <br />Jefferson Blvd., under Improvement Resolution No.1829. In the above named assessment <br />roll the Board decides to continue hearing on same until Atril Ilth., I928. <br />The Board approved the insurance polic of $20,000.00 to replace cancelled <br />policy of the same amount covering City Hall and ire Stations under General Form. <br />This being the date s-et, hearings were had onthe following improvement resol <br />Lions: <br />Pavement on College street from the norht line of Elwood avenue to the north <br />line of Keller 6treet under Improvement Resolution No.I983. <br />Pavement and sewer improvement in oodlavrn ''econd addition under improvement <br />Resolution Iio.I986, same being "a 551i�'-, waiver. <br />Pavement in Varquette Park rirst Addition under Improvement Resolution <br />No.I9851 same being a 55f> waiver. <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators appeared <br />and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the <br />premises, finds ti-iat the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be <br />assessed for said improvements, will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reporte <br />by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, to ies final action onsaid improvement <br />resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, confimmed and approved wkthout <br />modification. <br />The Board approved the following excatAtion bonds: <br />Excavation bond of Thillman Bros., for 5�I,000.00 signed 'by the Central <br />'Durety and Insurance Co. <br />Excavation Bondof Phillip Cohen for 'i?I,000.00 signed by the Petropolitan <br />Casualty Insurance Co. <br />Claims amounting to 822.5I for salaries in the Building "epartment signed <br />and approved. <br />i <br />The Board approved the purchase of new files for the Qity Clerks office <br />at a cost of 485.00, delivered and placed by the Book 61,pp. <br />
