<br />RESOLUTION
<br />Resolved by the Board of Public :'forks of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana, That:
<br />Whereas, on the 2nd. , day of August, 1927, Charles P. Wattles,
<br />and others, filed in the office of the Auditor of St. Joseph County, in the State of
<br />Indiana, their petition for the improvement of a certain highway, in Portage Township
<br />of said County; in trJlich proceedings, the beginning, course aidd termination of said
<br />proposed improvement is as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point where the West line of the right-of-way
<br />of the Grand Trunk ''iestern Railway Oompany intersects Sample Street, in the City of
<br />South Bend, in said County; thence running west along and upon said Sample Street Roa
<br />on the North boundry line of Sections 15, 16 and the Northeast Quarter () of Section
<br />17, of Township 37 North, Range 2 East, to where it intersects the public Road known
<br />as the Nasturtilum or Portage Road at the North Quarter post of said Section I7, where
<br />it terminates, being less that three (3) miles in length.
<br />And whereas, said petition was afterward duly referred to Viewers, an
<br />and said Viewers have duly filed their determination and report thereon, with complete !j
<br />plans, specifications and an accurate profile of said highway to be improved by said
<br />proceedings;
<br />And Whereas, a part of said highwat proposed to be improved
<br />is within the corporate limits of the said City of South Bend, Indiana, which said
<br />part is a portion -;f Sample Street in said City;
<br />Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Boarl of Public Works of the.
