All members present. <br />Due to the large numbers of people present, the meeting was adjourned to <br />the Council Chambers. �I <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement <br />resolutions; <br />Pavement on Scott Street from Calvert Street to Indiana Avenue under <br />Jimprovement Resolution No.I943. j <br />i <br />Pavement on Twenty Third Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Kerslake Court <br />;under Improvement Resolution No.I949. <br />Pavement on E1mer.Street.from Notre Dame Avenue to Eddy Street under j) <br />(Improvement Resolution No.I947. <br />Pavement of the alley between lots 129 and 130 in Gushing & Lindsay <br />(Addition from Portage Avenue tp the alley west of Portage Avenue under Improvement Resolu' <br />Rion No.I948. <br />Sewer on College Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street under Improve it <br />Resolution NoI954. II <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators appear- <br />ed and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premix <br />es finds that the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improve <br />ments will be benefited in proportion to the estimated cost of said improvements as <br />reported by the City Engineer. Therefore, the Board takes final action on said improve- <br />ment,, -.resolutions, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved withou <br />modification. <br />resolutions: This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement <br />., Pavement of 35th., Street from Jefferson Boulevard to Mishawaka Avenue unde <br />improvement Resolution No.1944. <br />Pavement of Vine Jtreet from 27th., Street to 30th., Street under improve- <br />Iment Resolution No.I950. <br />i <br />'I In both of the above named improvement resolutions, remonstrators appeared <br />'and the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides to take final action on said <br />resolutions and declares all former action action taken on same null and void and the <br />etion rescinded and the proceedings closed. <br />�' IRThis being the date set, hearings were had on the following Vacation <br />esolutions: <br />Vacation Resolution No.I95I for the Vacation of a portion of the Ist., alle <br />est of Kendall Street from Calvert Street to the Ist., alley north of Calvert Street. <br />�I Vacation Resolution No.I952 for the vacation of the first alcond and third <br />alleys west of College Street from the north line of Rupel Street to the south line of th <br />Ist., alley north of Rupel Street, <br />Vacation Resolution No.I953 for the vacation of the Ist., alley south of <br />Beyer Avenue from the east line of Eddy Street to the Grand Trunk Western Railroad right <br />f way line. <br />Vacation Resolution No.I946 for the vacation of the alley between lots 3 <br />and 22 in Bellevue Addition and the alley #etween lots 27 and 46 Bellevue Addition from <br />;the south line of Mishawaka Avenue to the•North line of .the alley south of Mishawaka <br />;venue. <br />_— <br />In all of the above named Vacation resolutions, no remonstrators appeared <br />and no remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides <br />,, o take final action on said vacation resolutions and declares same in all things ratifi- <br />ed confirmed and approved. <br />II "'he Board now orders, that lists or rolls be prepared of all owners and <br />holdfDrs of property or of valuable interests therein soughtto be taken. Hipskind for the construction <br />)f the sewer on McKinley Avenue from 22nd., Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement <br />,Resolution No.I9I9. The amount of the contract being $3,262.10 and the construction <br />and for 54j of the contract price was signed by Inland Bonding Uo. <br />City Engineer, 11r. H. G. tray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the <br />rade, curb and walk improvement on nineteenth Street, Wi.slon Avenue and south 2 of <br />`ashington Avenue in accordance with the terms of the contract..between the City and Carl <br />
