<br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. %R. All members present.
<br />Minutes of meetings held October Ilth., and October I2th., I927
<br />read and approved.
<br />Board signed the contract with Eston Ball fo , the construction
<br />of grade, curb and walk on High Street from Dubail Avenue to Bowman treet -Haler Impro-
<br />I vement Resolution No.I936. The amount of the contract being 988.10 and the construction
<br />i bond for I00% of the contract price was signed by the Employers Liability Assurance Co.,!
<br />' Board signed the contract with George Harrop for the construct-
<br />�j ion of Sewer on Wilber Street from Lincoln Way West to Elwood Avenue under ,Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I939. The amount of the contract being 9,2I2.15 and the construction
<br />" bond for 100% of the contract price was signed by Fidelity and Deposit Company of
<br />Maryland.
<br />The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
<br />Guarantee Bond of the Williston Construction Lo., for the
<br />pavement on Lincoln Way West from north line of LaSalle Avenue to the west line of
<br />Cottage Grove Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I8I3, Bond for 10% of the contraft
<br />price signed by Inland Bonding Co.
<br />Guarantee Bond of the Williston Construction Co., for the pave-
<br />ment on McKinley Avenue from Sunnyside to Greenjawn Avenue under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I863. Bond for 10% of the contract trice signed by Inland Bonding Co.
<br />Guarantee Bond of H. W . Reed & Sons for the pavement on Twycken'-
<br />ham Drive,iioodside, Avondale, Ridgedale, Garland, Trelane and Ridge Road in Ridgedale
<br />*th. , Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I870. Bond for 10% of the contract
<br />price signed by New York Indemnity Go.
<br />The Board approved the renewal certificate for Perkins Bpos.,
<br />contractors bond in the amount of $I,000.00 signed by the Metropolitan Casualty Co.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement on McKinley Avenue from Sunn�yside Avenue to G*reenlawn Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I863.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises
<br />il
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement;
<br />have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore;
<br />takes final action on said assessment roll, declaring same in all things ratified,
<br />confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board
<br />now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following
<br />assessment rolls:

<br />A sessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on
<br />Ridgedale Road, Avondale oad and Ridge Road in idgedale 4th., Addition under Improve-
<br />ment Resolution No.I868.
<br />Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on
<br />Garland Road and Trelane Road in Ridgedale 4th., Addition under Improvement Resolution
<br />1869.
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement on Twyckenham Driver; Woodside
<br />Street, Avondale Road, Ridgedale Road, Garland Road, Trelane Road and Ridge Road, all
<br />Ij irinRidgedale 4th., Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I870.
<br />In all of the above named improvement Assessment rolls, the
<br />remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed and the Board being fully advis
<br />in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land, primarily assessed fo
<br />said improvement, have been benefited in the amounts shoym on said assessment rolls.
<br />The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rollsaand declares same in
<br />all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now
<br />orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />Upon the recommend tion of -iim. F. Qualls, the Board granted
<br />the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company permission to install underground duct lines
<br />and cables in the reaV of the curb on Twenty-second Street, in the vicinity of the
<br />Grand Trunk right of way for the purpose of taking out the feeders from this substation

<br />3 for the pavement, grade, curb and walk improvement on Sherman Avenue, Bryan street,
<br />Rose Street, Roosevelt Street and Beale Street in accordance with the terms of t1ae
<br />contract between the City and V1. J. Nees Company, contractors under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.179I. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 2I,046.00.
