<br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes`
<br />of meetings held September I3th., and September I4th., I927, read and approved..
<br />The Board signed the contract with Eston Ball for the construction of grade
<br />curb and walk on Huey Street from north line of Lot 350 Marquette Heights Addition
<br />to Bryan Street under Improvement Resolution No.I907. Board also approved the construe
<br />ion bond of same in the amount of 2,425.32 signed bar the New York Indemnity Co.
<br />The Board -approved the recommendation of ft. F. qu;alls that the Indiana and
<br />Michigan Electric Co., be instructed to replace the present reflector with:, white
<br />globe on Lamp No.993 on Tgyior Street at first alley north of pivision Street. Sane
<br />ordered.
<br />Board approved the excavation bond of 0. S. Randolph in the amount of I,000.
<br />signed by the Columbia Casualty Co.
<br />The Board also approved the continuing bond of C. E. Reesh of Mishawaka,
<br />signed by the Metropolitan Casualty Co., of New York, N. Yam,
<br />4 The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Rocco Simeri for the sewer on
<br />it Orange Street under Improvement Resolution No.I796. Bond for 319.75 signed by the
<br />Columbia Casualty Co.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. IjUray, , submitted the -following report on the remon-
<br />strance against the Otsego Street pavement:
<br />"There are 3 resident property own rs on this street, all of whom have signed'
<br />this remonstrance. I would therefore recommend that no further action' be taken in this
<br />j matter. signed H. G. Wray."
<br />i The Board, therefore, rescinds all former action taken on said improvement
<br />Resolution and declares same, in all things, null and void and the proceedings closed.. II
<br />j The Board approved the driveway plan at 811 Twenty -Eighth Street owned by
<br />Carl Berry.

<br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the construct
<br />ion of a local sewer on Orange Street from Olive Street to Meade Street under Improve-
<br />meht Resolution No.I932. Bids as follows:

<br />In the matter of the pavement of the alley between Napoleon Boulevard and
<br />Peashway from Leeper Avenue to Ist., alley east of Stanfield Street under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I9II, the Board hereby orders that on the 4th., day of October, I927,atI0
<br />this Board will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said
<br />improvement. Board further orders that #otiees of said proposals shall be published
<br />on the 23rd., day of August and on the 30th., day of August, I927, in the South Bend
<br />News Times and Tribune.
