<br />contractor for the construction of the Northwest Trunk 'ewer System Improvement
<br />Resolution No.1774, in the City of �)outh Bend, Indiana, or the lawful holder hereof,
<br />is entitled to receive, upon the surrender of this certificate, in cash or sewer
<br />improvement bonds, to be hereafter collected or i ssured by the City of South Bend
<br />Indiana the sum of One Hundred `Thousand eight hundred twenty four Dollars and 64�
<br />cehiis (1100,824.64), the same being 65% of the amount shown to be due said contractor
<br />(over and above amounts previously certified) by monthly estimate No.2 made by the
<br />City Engineer and bearing date of August 30th., I927, and approved by the Board of

<br />This bein- the date set, hearing eras had on Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I920 for the sewer on 2lst., Street from Jefferson Blvd., to McKinley Street.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeare
<br />but no written remonstrance was filed and after hearing all persons interes ;ed in
<br />said improvement and being fully advised in the premises, the Board takes final
<br />action on said resolution, modifying same to read "from Jefferson Blvd., to the east
<br />line of Colfax Avenugg" amd declares said resolution in all things ratified, confirm
<br />and approved, as modified.
<br />The Board now orders that on the I4th. , day of September, I927i
<br />this Board will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of
<br />said improvement up to 7-I5 P. 11. Board further orders that notices of said proposals
<br />shall be published on the 2nd. , day of September and on the 9th. , day of September
<br />1927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune.
<br />In the matter of Condemnation Resolution No,NI5 for the opening'
<br />of Palmer Boulevard from-eKinley_ Avenue to Gollax Avenue, the Board hereby appo3.nt
<br />Edward Pfeiffer, David C. Gibson and Rallih -C. 6sb6rn as the appraisors and -the
<br />Clerk is instructed to notify same of said appointment.
