Miss <br />Hazel A Turner, Clerk, absent. <br />Minutes of meetings held August 9th and loth read and approved. <br />Bids were received, opened and read for the construction of grade, curb and <br />walk on the south side of Dommoyer Avenue from Michigan Street to Fellows Street, <br />under Improvement Resolution No. 1930: <br />concrete walk concrete curb grading to'sub -grade <br />H. L, Davis & Son .16 sq ft ..40 lin. ft .40 cu yd <br />Bids having been received for the grade, curb and walknon Doxmoyer Avenue <br />from Michigan Street.to Fellows Street, the Board hereby awards the contract to <br />H. L. Davis & Son on their low bid submitted. <br />No petitions having been filed for a change of the type of pavement other than <br />that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement on Amer Street from Freder- <br />ickson Street to Dincoln way Nest, under Improvement Resolution No. 1882, the Board <br />this 16th day.of august, 1927 hereby makes a final order for Sheet�Asphalt Heavy <br />Traffic as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and awards <br />the contract to the Williston Construction Company at their low bid of $9,917.60, <br />this being the lowest and best bid presented. ./ <br />No petitions having been filed for a change of type of pavement other than <br />that specified in the preliminary order for the poadwaytw&dening and pavement on <br />Main Street from South curb line of Mayne Street to North curb line of Division Street, <br />under improvement Resolution No. 1867, the Board thts,^t6th day of August, 1927, hereby <br />makes a final order for Heavy Traffic Sheet Asphalt as tge type of pavement with which <br />said street shall be widened and resurfaced and awards the contract to the Albert Con- <br />strucyion Company at their bid of 6,696,56, this being the lowest and best bid pre- <br />sented. <br />!i No petitions -having been filed for a change of the type of pavement other that <br />that spefified in the preliminary order for the pavement on Kenwood Avenue from Olive <br />Street to Bendix Drive, under Improvement Resolution No. 1898, the Board this 16th day, <br />! of August,m1927 hereby makes a final order for heavy traffic Sheet Asphalt as the type, <br />of pavement with which said street shall be paved and awards the contract to the .filbert <br />Construction Company at their low bid -of $17,312.20, this being the lowest and best bid. <br />presented. <br />No petitions having been filed for a change'of the type of pavement other than <br />that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement an Van Buren Street from the <br />I� C.S. & S.R.R. to Sancome Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 1884, the Board this <br />16th day of August, 1927 hereby makes a final order for Light.Traffic Sheet Asphalt as <br />j� the type of pavement with which said street shall be paved and awards the contract to <br />the Rieth-Riley Construction Company at their low bid of $2,661.20, this being the <br />lowest and best bid submitted. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H.
